Blog 1
Hi! I'm Rebecca and this blog is for my educational technology class. On paper I'm a senior studying economics but as a person I love sewing, Cher, and the Real Housewives (New York and Beverly Hills). I'm really into history, especially the stories behind songs, so ask me about any song from the 70s and I have at least 4 facts for you. I'm currently listening to the podcast My Favorite Murder and I'm reading Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood.
Technology has been an essential part of my education. I was in elementary school when SmartBoards were introduced in our county. From there, accessories like the Elmo were used in a lot of my classes. In high school almost all of my classes required a presentation that needed technological resources.
My largest personal learning network is the one I use for my economic classes. This includes people such as my professor and my peers as well as my advisors. I also rely on tools like GroupMe and Chegg to talk with my peers and gain further insight on economic topics. Youtube has also been very helpful resource when it comes to explaining difficult topics.

Any songs from the 70s... What about 'Norwegian Wood'? I think it came in the 60s... :-) I love Beatles. By the way, for your PLN, do you participate in any online community (forum, FB group, etc.) related to your major? What about professional organizations? You may have more PLN than you can think of right now.
